Strawberry Tower

Made a few strawberry Towers lately , each time I make small adjustments to work out what works best. I am using different varieties of strawberries and this will be a on going experiment to work out what works best for me .

these are the different stages of construction .

This latest Strawberry Tower has a drip irrigation system I made up.

Will plant strawberries into this in about a week , have grown some Alpine Variety from seed, they are a clumping type that does not have runners. cheers

Owl Hat\Coat Rack Old Horseshoe Art

I loved making this one for some reason , Made from my diminishing stack of old horseshoes (always on the look out for more ) The Owl Hat Rack was a good way to use some larger and different size old horseshoes and some washers for eyes. Owls seem to be the flavour of the month lately( in my world anyway) so owl art is my latest thing.   Cheers  Grantley

Old Iron OWL

Made from recycled old horseshoes and old corrugated Iron . This is my first attempt at mixing my corrugated Iron animals with my collection of old horseshoes , This is a rusty, no paint etc just wire brushed to help weld it and a few hidden pop rivets to hold it all together.

Made from recycled old Horseshoes , This one I made is for   ..  . Would look good on a back fence and as a Xmas Wreath just decorate with ribbon or plant material tinsel or whatever..

This Hat was made from old corrugated Iron and I use different colour ochre rocks to colour it, and then hair spray to seal it .
